Spacious room with a balcony that offers a great view, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The cleanliness of the entire space stands out, making it feel welcoming and comfortable.
The bathroom light and fan activate automatically upon opening the door, which can lead to some awkward midnight visits. An unpleasant odor in the bathroom was noticeable during the stay, detracting slightly from the overall experience.

Staying at Pension Joakina was fantastic. The room with a balcony offered lovely views and was spacious, clean, and bright. I appreciated the high-quality furnishings, including a very comfortable mattress and soft bedding. The communal kitchen was a great perk, stocked with tea, coffee, and essentials, making it easy to prepare quick meals. Luis, the host, provided excellent tips on local restaurants and even had beach towels available for guests. The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk to the bus station and the old town. My only quibble was a bit of noise from the street at night, but it didn’t detract much from my enjoyment. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting San Sebastian!

I stayed in the Double or Twin Room with Private External Bathroom for 2 nights, and it was super spacious and clean. The bathroom was right next door, so no big deal. Plenty of natural light, great quality furnishings, and a comfy mattress made it very inviting. Plus, the shared kitchen was handy, stocked with coffee and tea. Easy walks to the beach and old town made everything even better. Great value for a nice room in a popular area!

I had a wonderful stay with an excellent shared kitchen that had tea and coffee freely available. My room had a lovely little balcony perfect for relaxing. They also provided beach towels and sun umbrellas, which made my beach days easier. Only downside was the bathroom light that comes on automatically when you open the door, making midnight visits a tad tricky. Overall, a fantastic spot for a getaway! 😊
